The Perfect Festival Outfit Guide

A guide to the perfect festival (or outside concert) look!!

The weather is finally starting to warm up, so you know what that means...MUSIC FESTIVALS!  There are a wide range of outdoor concerts and music festivals to choose from every summer.  From Coachella, to Rolling Loud, to the newest Dreamville Fest.  If you love music, good vibes, and fun in the sun you have to get to one of these festivals.  When you finally book that ticket you might have a little trouble trying to figure out exactly what to wear, that's where I come in.   Here are just a few tips on how to look and feel your most amazing self at any one of these festivals this year.  If you want to know exactly how to put together that perfect outfit just keep on scrolling!

1.  Unique Outfit

The outfit is key!  Something flashy or daring, cute and comfy, or if you're just simply going to an outside concert you can opt for the band tee shirt!  Some good festival trends to try would include the sheer lacy look, the boho-chic look with a wide brim hat and layered jewelry, or the western look with tons of fringe and some cowboy boots.

2.  The right shoes

Your shoes should be a combination of practical and comfy, yet cute.  As I always say, the shoes definitely makes the look.  Some platform lace up boots would be my go to!  

3.  Easy to carry bag

You need something that fits everything you may need, but remember lugging around a big heavy bag is a negative.  Some great options would include a mini backpack, a wrist-let, a cross body bag, or one of the more trendy options like a fanny pack or lanyard cardholder.  You can always spice it up by choosing something metallic or bright neon, which is really on trend for the season.  Also be sure to check any of the festival guidelines since they may have a few regulations on what kind of bags are allowed.

4.  Cool Hair

The hair has to be just right.  A popping hairstyle that matches the uniqueness of your outfit.  You can add embellishments, glitter, and even color.  The more eye catching the better!  Try adding a few braids or high buns for a fun look!

5.  Sparkle and shine

Don't be afraid to go crazy with the embellishments.  Layer your necklaces, pile on the bangles, and wear a ring on every finger if you want.  Add some hardware like brooches to your tops, hats, or even your bags.  Put on some extra highlighter when doing your makeup and don't forget your hair.  Hair pins, hair glitter, hair jewels, and head bands are all great additions to give that extra something to your festival look.

6.  GOOD VIBES

Now this is the most important of all your festival/outside concert essentials.  You must have good vibes flowing.  Enjoy the music, enjoy the other festival goers,  enjoy the sun, and enjoy the food and the drinks.  Take in all the good vibes from everyone and everything and forget about all your worries and stress.  This is your time to just have fun and you don't want to waste it on anything negative.  If you do this you will have the time of your life, and you will create amazing memories.
